Practical Nursing – Level 2 Certificate

At SLI, like with all courses, great emphasis is placed on preparing our practical nursing trainees to be knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, and employable, perform their assigned tasks the way they were taught, and work within their scope of practice.  Well-trained PNs provide excellent hands-on care and are important members of the healthcare interdisciplinary team. Because of their close contact with their patients, they are the ones who are most likely to spot and report observations that could lead to early detection and treatment.

Trainers at SLI have a keen knowledge of the industry; hence, we ensure that the trainees’ foundation is solid: training is thorough, relevant,  comprehensive, and up-to-date, and important skills are honed. Ultimately, trainees’ broad theoretical knowledge base, impeccably honed practical skills, along with their caring attitude, are rewarded with the friendship and trust of those to whom they give care, the respect of their employers and co-workers, and, of course, personal satisfaction.

Upon completion of the PN programme, trainees can work both here and overseas in private and public hospitals, private and nursing homes, other long-term care facilities, physician’s offices, children’s homes, industries, and correctional facilities, where they function extremely well.

Available Session(s): Day, Afternoon, Evening & Weekend

Day Session: 8:30 AM – 12:15 pm (Monday, Wednesday & Thursday)

Afternoon Session: 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM

Evening Session: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (2 evenings per week)

Weekend Session: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Saturday)

Duration: 1 year (4 terms)

Tuition: $27,000 per term
