Psychiatric Aide (Post Basic)

The Psychiatric Aide Programme is a more thorough and intense programme than the Introduction to Psychiatric Nursing.  It involves an in-depth and comprehensive study of perspectives in mental health care.

Upon completion of this course, trainees are able to work at psychiatric facilities, public and private; nursing homes; group homes, including those caring for persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities; and rehabilitation centres.

Available Session(s): Day, Afternoon, Evening & Weekend

Day Session: 8:30 AM – 12:00 Midday (Monday – Thursday)

Afternoon Session: 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM

Evening Session: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM (2 evenings per week)

Weekend Session: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Saturday)

Duration: 8 weeks
