Geriatric Nursing – Basic

Geriatric Nursing is another field of nursing.  It focuses on the elderly with special consideration to the aging process and how to adequately care for this aging population.

The basic course offered at this institution is a short, concise programme that prepares the entry-level worker to care effectively for the older adult.

Upon completion of this course, this trainee can work locally and internationally in private and public hospitals, private and nursing homes, and some long-term care facilities.

Available Session(s): Day, Afternoon, Evening & Weekend

Day Session: 8:30 AM – 12:00 Midday (Monday – Thursday)

Afternoon Session: 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM

Evening Session: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM (2 -3 evenings per week) and designated Saturdays from 9: AM – 2:00 PM

Weekend Session: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Saturday)

Duration: 6 –  months

Tuition Cost: $50,000
