Practical Nurse as a Leader (Post Basic)

A practical nurse may have worked in a long-term care facility for several years; hence, he/she may be placed in a supervisory position, while still working under the supervision of the licensed nurse.  A basic course in leadership covers important aspects of management which will equip this worker to function effectively and competently in his/her role.

Upon completion of this course, trainees can work in an expanded role at nursing homes, children’s homes, and some long-term care facilities.

Available Session(s): Day, Afternoon, Evening & Weekend

Day Session: 8:30 AM – 12:00 Midday (Monday – Thursday)

Afternoon Session: 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM (Monday – Thursday)

Evening Session: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM (2 evenings per week)

Weekend Session: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Saturday)

Duration: 3 weeks
