My name is Shauna-Kay Reid and I am a past student of this noble institution. I must say that this school has helped me to propel in my career as a nurse. The teachers at SLI display great interest in their trainees’ learning and ensure that they are well groomed for the competitive world of nursing. After a decade of being a Certified Registered Nurse, I can proudly say that Mrs. Morgan and her staff have helped to make me the great nurse I am today, because I am guided by the principles taught throughout my training.

My encouragement to all present and prospective students is that they should learn all that they can and build on the knowledge that they will gain at this institution. I completed my Practical Nursing Course with the highest level of competence. Hats off to you, Mrs. Morgan; you are the best teacher I’ve ever come across – dotting every “i” and crossing every “t” and for always giving it your 100%. What I liked about Spanish Town Learning Institute, formerly known as Spanish Town School of Vocational Health Care, is that people respect everyone. I had different teachers and they were all so nice; they made the subjects fun to learn, and they answered all my questions and explained everything I did not understand. The best part about the school is the accessibility of staff and their eagerness to help the students.
